My PhD was obtained at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia where I have worked on the structural studies of the ABC toxin YenTc, a pathogenic bacterial pore-forming toxin, in the lab of Assoc Prof Michael Landsberg. Using cryo-electron microscopy I have solved structures of YenTc in inactive and in active, toxin translocating states of the protein complex.
As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Monash University in Australia I am currently working on the structural characterisation of G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) complexes in the laboratories of Prof Patrick Sexton and Assoc Prof Denise Wootten. My particular interests are protein biochemistry as well as cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) and data visualisation.
